FEBRUARY - APRIL 2024

“Précieuse” is the result of in-depth research into the harmony and essence of materials. It is a subtle meeting between mineral and metal, where onyx, agate, marble and selenite mingle with aluminum structures. » Axel Chay

For this exhibition, Axel Chay frees himself from the codes of contemporary design to explore a new approach to the object. Neither a simple piece of furniture nor a traditional sculpture, each piece is thought of as a jewel, revealing a precious and timeless dimension.

JANUARY - MARCH 2025

A unique exhibition bringing together three unique universes, where photography, design and art interact in captivating harmony. At the crossroads of disciplines, this exhibition questions our relationship to time, memory and emotion, offering a renewed look at the power of the artistic gesture.

The Calade collection published by Pradier-Jeauneau is enriched with new pieces. Through his bold shapes and refined materials, Axel Chay pushes the boundaries between functional design and contemporary sculpture.

 JUNE 2024

Posterità inaugurates its first private collective exhibition in the Villa Bambi, designed by architect Margaux Fritz. This exceptional place offers an ideal setting to enhance the works, in an intimate and confidential atmosphere, in the presence of carefully selected guests.

Perched on the heights of Endoume, Villa Bambi deploys its 160 m² in an atmosphere that is irresistibly reminiscent of Los Angeles. For the occasion, a scenographic artistic covering takes over every corner of the house, both inside and outside.

For five days, an eclectic and contemporary selection takes over the villa, presented like a private collection.

MARCH - AUGUST 2024

Placed under the cosmic influence of HALO Paris, this exhibition is an invitation to project yourself into the orbit of the planet of Mars(eille), to immerse yourself in the effervescence of the marine thermal baths.

Axel Chay's design pieces take us through a space with mystical lighting, putting contemporary forms and Greco-Roman deities into perspective: armchairs and sofas for strutting around facing the Mediterranean, a draped blue fountain of youth, chrome vases and amphoras with old-fashioned charm, a cenacle bar with the promise of commensality. Also included are images on brushed aluminum and vintage mirrors by his sidekick Aurélien Ciller.

NEPTUNE

CHAPELLE XIV, PARIS

JANUARY - APRIL 2023

Axel Chay invites you to Neptune, a secret place which has no limits except those of the imagination. Fantasy private club, den of bandits or fantasy of the mind, it could be nestled in the hull of a yacht, hidden at the bottom of a cave or behind a back door.

The Neptune is the allegory of the ideal bar, where regulars and laymen mingle. A heterogeneous, free and fanciful clientele meets there who only remember the rays of the sun sparkling on the waves in the early mornings.

DEC 2020 - MARCH 2021

A hybrid place dedicated to creation, Chapelle XIV welcomes emerging artists in a bright and minimalist space. Artists, designers and also vinyl artists are represented in an open-door approach to art.

The Erotish exhibition highlights eroticism in all its forms. We find naked bodies in a kitsch universe in pop colors. The floor lamp and Axel's stool rub shoulders with the works of Studio BehaghelFoiny, the artist Camille Menard, or the photographs of the duo Julia and Vincent.

SEPT 2020 - MARCH 2021

Axel presents new pieces during the arrangement of the apartment of the Vaste Horizon bed and breakfast in Arles.

Its rounded daybed stands out in the room and dialogues with its deep green tubular MODULATION floor lamp which stands out in front of a wooden table like a painter's palette on 3 yellow tubular legs. Its shell sconces adorn a wooden headboard created tailor-made for the place and a new version of the PARAD leather armchair completes the space. It’s a guy’s apartment from the 80s.
